Lynne Giacobbe, Executive Director
Lynne Giacobbe has served as Executive Director of Kendal at Home since its inception in 2003. Lynne has worked in the non-profit field for more than 30 years. For the past 25 years she has worked in the area of administration and program development. Lynne is the Executive Director of Ohio’s first age-in-place community. Through the development of Kendal at Home, Lynne has helped to bring the concept of aging in place to older adults who prefer to spend their retirement years in their own homes. Marybeth Busser, Assistant Executive Director
Marybeth Busser joins the Kendal at Home team after years of experience in the fundraising field with a focus on sales and marketing. She began her career with Market Day Corporation in northeast Ohio and over the next 20 years continued to build the program in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia markets. Marybeth earned her Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Kent State University. She is actively involved in volunteering in various charitable organizations. She resides in Westlake with her husband. She has three children and enjoys spending time with her family at the lake in Vermilion, watching sporting events, and cooking.
Mary Jo Dziak, Director of Clinical Services
An experienced healthcare professional, Mary Jo Dziak has over 20 years of experience as a nurse. She has worked in a variety of healthcare setting including public health, emergency rooms, home care and critical care. Prior to joining Kendal at Home, she was the director of the home care agency at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center. Mary Jo graduated with a diploma in nursing from the MB Johnson School of Nursing at Elyria Memorial Hospital and earned her BSN from Ohio University. In addition, she holds a certification in Integrated Care Management from the Sutter Center for Integrated Care.
Joanne Cornell, Life Plan Coordinator
Joanne Cornell has worked in healthcare for 25 years. A nationally board certified massage therapist with eight years of experience, Joanne is trained in St. John neuromuscular therapy techniques, which help relieve chronic pain. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in business administration and has worked in a variety of healthcare settings. Prior to joining Kendal at Home, Joanne worked at Christina Care Health Systems and Spectrum Health.
Katie Tipton, Life Plan Coordinator
Katie Tipton began her career in the field of aging after completing her Master’s degree in Gerontological Studies in 1998. Before coming to Kendal at Home, she worked for two skilled nursin facilities and for a non-medical home care. She started with Kendal at Home in 2004. She has extensive training in the area of Medicare through the Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program (OSHIIP) and is a professionally trained health and wellness coach. She resides in Cleveland with her husband and four children. She enjoys scrapbooking, being outdoors and spending time with her family.
Terri Lanham, Life Plan Coordinator
Terri Lanham began her nursing career in 1985 as an LPN in Norfolk, Virginia, where she and her husband lived while he served in the United States Navy. They moved to Ohio in 1989. Terri worked for Fairview Hospital and Tri City Medicine. In 1993, she started working for Kendal at Oberlin as the health and wellness nurse in the clinic. In August of 2011, she came to Kendal at Home in the role as a Care Coordinator with 19 years of experience in the geriatric field. Terri is a professionally trained health and wellness coach. Terri resides in North Ridgeville with her husband. They have two daughters and two grandsons. Terri loves spending time with her family, traveling, and any outdoor activities. Terri’s wellness approach to life keeps her active and fit.
Debra Saul, Life Plan Coordinator
Nationally and regionally recognized in the field of aging services, Debra Saul has over 20 years’ experience working to bring quality of life to older adults. She previously worked in well-known, not-for-profit continuing care retirement communities, and brings nearly 5 years in the home care/community based services/hospice industry. Debra earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Art, Architecture, and Planning. She resides in West Chester, Ohio with her husband, and has two sons and one grandson. She enjoys the arts, travel and spending time with family at their cabin in Hocking Hills, Ohio.
Cheryl Menz, Life Plan Coordinator
Cheryl Menz joined the Kendal at Home team as a caregiver while pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree from Baldwin Wallace University. Since then she has graduated with a Degree in Organizational Leadership and a minor in Psychology. Cheryl brings experience in the field of caregiving and years spent working with the developmentally disabled. She resides in Avon with her fiancée and their two dogs. Cheryl enjoys spending time with her family and friends, rooting for Cleveland sports teams, and traveling, especially cruises.
Lindsay Scott, At Home Specialist
Lindsay joined the Kendal at Home team in 2007 and has worked in the long term care industry for more than 20 years. She thoroughly enjoys working with individuals that are considering plans for their future and helping facilitate this process. She received a degree in Health Care Administration from Kent State University as well as her Ohio Nursing Home Administrator’s License. Lindsay resides in Bay Village and can be found spending her free time with her husband Eric and their daughters.
Sue Wojtkun, Marketing Associate
Sue Wojtkun joins the Kendal at Home team with 21 years of experience in marketing and sales. She has worked with schools and non profit groups and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts from the University of Dayton. Sue enjoys baking, sewing and spending time with her family. She resides in North Olmsted with her husband and has three children.
Kristen Brown, Marketing/Administrative Associate
Kristen brings over 10 years of administrative, marketing and customer service experience to the Kendal at Home team. She is passionate about helping others and loves to volunteer. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with friends and family, and cheer on Ohio sports teams. She resides in Mason with her two sons.
Karen Graham, Controller
Karen brings years of business experience to Kendal at Home after having worked with a varied portfolio of manufacturing and service companies. She brings a unique blend of finance, operations and IT solutions to the team. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from John Carroll University. She resides in Bay Village with her husband and their 2 sons.
Kim Blair, Office Manager
Kim Blair has worked in the healthcare field for over 30 years beginning her career as a registered Medical Laboratory Technician. She joins Kendal at Home after spending 17 years in the Finance Department of Kendal at Oberlin where she specialized in Medicare billing and insurance. She resides in Wakeman with her husband. They have 3 children and 2 grandsons and are eagerly awaiting the arrival of a granddaughter in December. Kim enjoys family related activities, gardening, and reading.
Amanda Frietchen, Supportive Services Scheduler & Administrative Assistant
Amanda Frietchen brings several years of experience in home care to the Kendal at Home team. Amanda has worked in a variety of home care settings including private home care and skilled home health care. She is pursuing a degree in geriatrics health care administration. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family and creating crafts.
