Member Services

As a Member of Kendal at Home you are assured of high quality services and programs designed to promote health and wellness and assist you in maintaining your independence and individual lifestyle.

• Personal Care Coordinator - You begin a personal relationship with your Care Coordinator once you become a Member of Kendal at Home.  Your Care Coordinator will work closely with you, your family, and your physician to have the right services delivered to you in your home or, when necessary, in a facility.  A member of the care coordination staff will be available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• Wellness and Social Programs - Offered to you as a Member of Kendal at Home are wellness seminars, fitness events, educational programs and social networking opportunities. 
• Home Safety and Fitness Assessment - A licensed physical or occupational therapist will conduct a personal fitness assessment  as well as a safety and functional assessment of your home.  You will receive suggestions and guidance to help maintain or achieve your highest level of fitness and independence.
• Transportation - Kendal at Home will provide transportation to and from specific medical appointments such as outpatient surgery, short-stay procedures or hospitalization.
• Meals - Delicious and nutritious meals will be delivered to your home when you are unable to prepare them.
• Companion/Homemaker Services - A companion/homemaker will be provided when assistance is needed with day-to-day chore activities in your home such as cooking, dishwashing, laundry, light housekeeping, and errands. Also, if needed, someone will be available for supervision of, and assistance with, these activities and medication reminders.
• Emergency Response System - Kendal at Home provides an emergency response system with 24-hour monitoring.
• Certified Home Health Aide - If assistance is needed with personal care, such as bathing or dressing, a licensed home health aide will assist you in your home.
• Adult Day Care - Adult day care programs located throughout the community, and offering services provided in a congregate setting for a scheduled number of hours per week, including transportation, meals and activities, are provided by Kendal at Home.
• Assisted Living (Residential Healthcare) Facility - If staying at home is no longer possible, but 24-hour medical care is not needed, Assisted Living (Residential Healthcare) is available for Members of Kendal at Home, with the exception of the In-Home Full Coverage Option.
• Nursing Home Facility - If your health changes and you can no longer remain in your home or in an Assisted Living (Residential Healthcare), skilled nursing care is available for Members, with the exception of the In-Home Full Coverage Option.
• Premier Kendal at Home Network - Kendal at Home Members have access to the Premier Kendal at Home Network of reputable providers who offer a wide variety of services to help you remain in your own home.  You can obtain referrals for home maintenance and repair, financial planning, legal advice and much more.  Although Members are responsible for paying for these services, many of the providers do offer discounts.
