Bio of Melissa Holcombe: Melissa Holcombe, DSW, LCSW, is a Senior Advisor for Childfree Trust, a nationwide fiduciary estate planning service for Childfree adults. With three decades of dedicated advocacy in social services, Melissa brings extensive expertise in navigating the complexities of guardianship, competency assessments, and probate courts. Her diverse background includes leadership roles in child welfare, twenty years supporting vulnerable student populations in public schools, and serving as an adjunct social work professor. Additionally, Melissa is a pioneer as one of the nation's first Certified Veterinary Social Workers. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking and kayaking with her dog, Darcy
