For many older adults, being polite and trusting usually comes naturally because of how they were raised. While these traits are desirable for most people of any age, being polite and trusting can put older adults' personal information at risk.
Older adults also are reluctant to report instances of senior scams or suspicious activities for fear of losing their independence, so it’s easy to see how they could become scam victims.
