Hear From Our Members
My husband was gravely ill for several months. We put a hospital bed in our first floor bedroom and we had caregivers around the clock 24/7. The care coordinator took care of all of that. I really can't imagine those last months without Kendal's help.
I joined Kendal at Home for when I need help. It’s really a gift to my kids so that I don’t become their responsibility. Kendal at Home gives me peace of mind.
Our care coordinator is familiar with our lifestyle and farmhouse living on 2.3 acres and growing our own vegetables. They offer financial peace of mind by allowing us to calculate the cost and make other financial decisions based on these costs.
For 35 years, my life revolved around my students. I’ve met some really interesting people of similar ages, with similar backgrounds, and that’s been invaluable.
I think that once the old folks are sort of settled, it helps the relationship one has with one’s adult children. You’re no longer talking about vitamins or orange juice or whatever. You can talk about other things.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Kendal at Home available in my area?
Kendal at Home currently offers services in Ohio, Massachusetts, and Northern Kentucky. If you have questions about services in your specific area, please reach out to us using the Contact Us page.
How is Kendal at Home different from long-term care insurance?
The Kendal at Home program offers a significantly broader scope of coverage compared to conventional long-term care insurance. With our focus on proactive wellness, our comprehensive healthy aging initiatives begin the moment you join, guiding you on a journey of proactive self-care.
In contrast, long-term care insurance operates reactively, activating benefits only once specific conditions are met. These conditions often necessitate assistance with at least two activities of daily living, entail a waiting period of 90 or 120 days, and frequently impose limits on benefits, either in terms of monetary value or duration.
If I joint this program, do I still need my medical insurance?
Yes, you will need to retain your health care coverage. Our program does not take the place of your medical insurance. We may assist in the coordination of benefits - for example, therapy services and durable medical equipment may likely be covered by Medicare and/or your supplemental coverage, but we can assist you in coordinating the benefit and overseeing the implementation of those services.
