Lynne Giacobbe, Executive Director
Lynne Giacobbe has served as Executive Director of Kendal at Home since its inception in 2003. Lynne has worked in the non-profit field for more than 30 years. For the past 25 years she has worked in the area of administration and program development. Lynne is the Executive Director of Ohio’s first age-in-place community. Through the development of Kendal at Home, Lynne has helped to bring the concept of aging in place to older adults who prefer to spend their retirement years in their own homes. Joanne Cornell, Life Plan/Care Coordinator
Joanne Cornell has worked in healthcare for 25 years. A nationally board certified massage therapist with eight years of experience, Joanne is trained in St. John neuromuscular therapy techniques, which help relieve chronic pain. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in business administration and has worked in a variety of healthcare settings. Prior to joining Kendal at Home, Joanne worked at Christina Care Health Systems and Spectrum Health.
Katie Tipton, Life Plan/Care Coordinator
Katie Tipton began her career in the field of aging after completing her Master’s degree in Gerontological Studies in 1998. Before coming to Kendal at Home, she worked for two skilled nursing facilities and for a non-medical home care. She started with Kendal at Home in 2004. She has extensive training in the area of Medicare through the Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program (OSHIIP) and is a professionally trained health and wellness coach. She resides in Cleveland with her husband and four children. She enjoys scrapbooking, being outdoors and spending time with her family.
Terri Lanham, Life Plan/Care Coordinator
Terri Lanham began her nursing career in 1985 as an LPN in Norfolk, Virginia, where she and her husband lived while he served in the United States Navy. They moved to Ohio in 1989. Terri worked for Fairview Hospital and Tri City Medicine. In 1993, she started working for Kendal at Oberlin as the health and wellness nurse in the clinic. In August of 2011, she came to Kendal at Home in the role as a Care Coordinator with 19 years of experience in the geriatric field. Terri is a professionally trained health and wellness coach. Terri resides in North Ridgeville with her husband. They have two daughters and two grandsons. Terri loves spending time with her family, traveling, and any outdoor activities. Terri’s wellness approach to life keeps her active and fit.
Cheryl Menz, Life Plan/Care Coordinator
Cheryl Menz joined the Kendal at Home team as a caregiver while pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree from Baldwin Wallace University. Since then she has graduated with a Degree in Organizational Leadership and a minor in Psychology. Cheryl brings experience in the field of caregiving and years spent working with the developmentally disabled. She resides in Avon with her fiancée and their two dogs. Cheryl enjoys spending time with her family and friends, rooting for Cleveland sports teams, and traveling, especially cruises.
Deanna Rieser, Life Plan/Care Coordinator
Deanna comes to Kendal at Home with a strong background in aging services. As a former Regional Program Director and Support Coordinator for the Ohio Long-Tern Care Ombudsman Program, Deanna worked to promote the integrity of health care systems that honor choice, autonomy and self-determination. Deanna has a Master’s in Applied Gerontology from Brenau University, a Bachelor’s in Zoology and Psychology from Miami University and is currently a Doctoral student in Healthcare Administration at Franklin University. Deanna will be providing Care Coordination for our members in our Central and Southern Ohio office.
Lindsay Scott, At Home Specialist
Lindsay joined the Kendal at Home team in 2007 and has worked in the long term care industry for more than 20 years. She thoroughly enjoys working with individuals that are considering plans for their future and helping facilitate this process. She received a degree in Health Care Administration from Kent State University as well as her Ohio Nursing Home Administrator’s License. Lindsay resides in Bay Village and can be found spending her free time with her husband Eric and their daughters.
Steve Rogers, At Home Specialist
Steve joined the Kendal at Home team after many years in the At Home Medical Equipment industry as well as marketing management experience. Steve has a degree in Marketing from Northern Illinois University, and has resided in the Columbus, Ohio area for over 15 years. He enjoys his role helping people navigate the health care industry and plan their future care needs. He and his wife have four children, who keep him busy with their many athletic and academic activities. Steve also enjoys history and travel in his free time.
Sue Wojtkun, Marketing Associate
Sue Wojtkun joins the Kendal at Home team with 21 years of experience in marketing and sales. She has worked with schools and non profit groups and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts from the University of Dayton. Sue enjoys baking, sewing and spending time with her family. She resides in North Olmsted with her husband and has three children.
Karen Graham, Controller
Karen brings years of business experience to Kendal at Home after having worked with a varied portfolio of manufacturing and service companies. She brings a unique blend of finance, operations and IT solutions to the team. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from John Carroll University. She resides in Bay Village with her husband and their 2 sons.
Kim Blair, Office Manager
Kim Blair has worked in the healthcare field for over 30 years beginning her career as a registered Medical Laboratory Technician. She joins Kendal at Home after spending 17 years in the Finance Department of Kendal at Oberlin where she specialized in Medicare billing and insurance. She resides in Wakeman with her husband. They have 3 children and 2 grandsons and are eagerly awaiting the arrival of a granddaughter in December. Kim enjoys family related activities, gardening, and reading.
P. Lal Arora, MD, FRCPC, Medical Director
Dr. Arora is a retired internist in Oberlin, Ohio. He is board certified in geriatrics, internal medicine and pulmonary disease. Dr. Arora earned his medical degree from Punjab University in India and completed fellowships in pulmonary disease at the University of Pennsylvania and the VA Hospital, Case Western University and geriatrics at University Hospitals in Cleveland. With more than 20 years of experience in geriatrics and 18 years of experience in internal medicine and pulmonary disease, Dr. Arora has held several medical staff leadership positions at local hospitals throughout his career.
Jessica Leslie, Director of Clinical Services
Jessica Leslie CScD, OTR/L is excited to join Kendal at Home as the Director of Clinical Services. She received her Doctor of Clinical Science in Occupational therapy from the University of Pittsburgh and has worked in a variety of clinical settings (outpatient, inpatient rehabilitation, acute care and long term acute care). She received a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Psychology and History of Art from the University of Michigan. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys cooking, reading, traveling and hiking, even trekking to Machu Picchu in May 2018.
